About the Role

We are currently recruiting a Deputy Store Manager for the high-volume retail store in Bolton, Trinity Way.

This position offers real responsibility and serves as the ideal stepping stone for experienced team leaders aiming for full store management. As Deputy Store Manager, you will take true ownership of store performance—driving sales, maintaining high operational standards, and leading a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Detailed Key Responsibilities

• Store Leadership & Duty Management: Confidently run store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.

• Financial & Stock Controls: Oversee daily till cashing up, safe deposits, stock rotation management, and cost-control initiatives.

• Team Development: Support the Store Manager by training, coaching, and motivating colleagues to maintain high employee engagement.

• Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict Health & Safety standards, food safety due diligence, and store auditing criteria.

• Customer & Merchandising Standards: Deliver outstanding customer care while maintaining high product quality and visual display standards across the floor.

Skills & Requirements

• Leadership Experience: Proven background in supervising or managing teams within fast-paced, customer-focused retail or hospitality environments.

• Operational Acumen: Skilled in time management, stock control, and achieving store targets/KPIs.

• Motivated & Accountable: High personal standards, confident handling financial procedures, and driven to exceed sales targets.

• Flexibility: Adaptable to shift patterns required for store leadership responsibilities.

• Background: Previous Store Management experience is welcome, but your leadership potential and "can-do" drive matter most!
