• Salary: Hourly rate of £13.11 plus a 12.07% holiday allowance uplift (weekly pay)

• Employment Type: Bank / Flexible (Sponsorship is not available).

What You Will Be Doing

• Clean and maintain all areas of the service to the highest standards, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms, and visitor areas.

• Work closely with the maintenance and clinical teams to ensure facilities are immaculate, safe, and fully compliant with security and hospital policies.

• Maintain excellent telephone etiquette and greet visitors warmly and professionally.

• Establish and foster positive working relationships with all staff, visitors, and service users.

• Attend annual mandatory and statutory training sessions as required by Elysium Healthcare.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience of cleaning within a similar care, clinical, or professional environment.

• A passion for cleanliness and a genuine satisfaction from a job well done.

• Strong prioritization skills with great attention to detail and high standards.

• Good communication skills and the ability to spot and efficiently resolve problems.

• Flexibility to cover early shift patterns (starting at 5:00 AM or 6:00 AM).

Where You Will Be Working

Potters Bar Clinic comprises two acute mental health wards for adult men and women, and two CAMHS Tier 4 low secure wards for young people aged 13-18. Located in a residential Hertfordshire area, the clinic is a one-minute drive from the M25 and a short bus ride from Potters Bar Train Station (with a bus stop right outside), making it an easy commute.
