Position: Host / Hostess
Location: Richmond Village Witney, Coral Springs Way, Witney, Oxfordshire, OX28 5DG
Salary: £12.90 per hour (inclusive of paid breaks)
Contract Type: Full-time or Part-time options available
Shift Patterns: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, or 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

As a Host / Hostess, your presence during mealtimes is crucial to the resident experience. You will ensure residents receive dignified, personalized attention while promoting vibrant social interaction and overall wellbeing. Whether you are setting up dining areas, serving meals, providing friendly room service, or managing the bar area, your hospitality will help make mealtimes a daily highlight.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up tables and maintain a pristine, welcoming environment in the restaurant and café.
Serve residents during mealtimes in the restaurant and café with care and warmth.
Prepare food trays and provide attentive room service to residents who prefer dining in their rooms.
Serve drinks at the bar as required (applicants must be 18 years or older).
Keep the restaurant, café, and kitchen areas clean, orderly, and sanitary at all times.
Support other tasks as needed, such as restocking residents' personal kitchens or delivering refreshments across the village.
A deeply caring nature and a genuine drive to make a positive impact on people's lives.
Background in customer service; previous experience in catering or kitchen roles is a bonus, but full training is provided.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to thrive in a close-knit team setting.
