As a Kitchen Assistant (Day), you will play a key bridging role between the main kitchen and residents. Working full-time day shifts, you will handle food preparation tasks, wash crockery and utensils, follow rigorous cleaning schedules, and ensure meals are safely prepared for service.
Key Responsibilities
Assist chefs with food preparation, plating meals, and organizing food trolleys for service delivery.
Maintain strict kitchen cleaning schedules, ensuring all areas, utensils, and crockery are immaculately clean and hygienic.
Adhere strictly to Health and Safety and Food Standards regulations while working collaboratively across shift patterns.
Requirements
Experience with food preparation and catering in accordance with food safety regulations.
Ability to manage pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, and communicate clearly at all levels.
Valid right to work in the UK and ability to commute reliably to Leeds, UK.
