Kitchen Assistant (Day)

As a Kitchen Assistant (Day), you will play a key bridging role between the main kitchen and residents. Working full-time day shifts, you will handle food preparation tasks, wash crockery and utensils, follow rigorous cleaning schedules, and ensure meals are safely prepared for service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with food preparation, plating meals, and organizing food trolleys for service delivery.

• Maintain strict kitchen cleaning schedules, ensuring all areas, utensils, and crockery are immaculately clean and hygienic.

• Adhere strictly to Health and Safety and Food Standards regulations while working collaboratively across shift patterns.

Requirements

• Experience with food preparation and catering in accordance with food safety regulations.

• Ability to manage pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, and communicate clearly at all levels.

• Valid right to work in the UK and ability to commute reliably to Leeds, UK.
