Salary: £29,000 + Company Van
About The Role Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is partnering with a leading facilities management provider to recruit an experienced Area Supervisor to join their operations team in Swindon and the surrounding areas. In this integral field-based role, you will oversee service delivery, build strong client relationships, lead frontline operatives, and ensure safety and quality standards are consistently achieved across all sites.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Maintaining high standards of service delivery and client satisfaction in line with agreed KPIs
Building and maintaining strong local client relationships
Conducting regular audits and resolving issues to ensure cleaning specifications are met
Providing line management, support, inductions, and training for frontline operatives
Supporting contract mobilisations through site visits and training
Overseeing health and safety compliance across all sites
Managing stock checks and ordering materials and equipment
Providing hands-on cleaning cover or supporting other Area Supervisors when required
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring correct use of IT systems
Collaborating with management teams and proactively escalating risks or improvements
What We Are Looking For:
Demonstrable experience in a similar supervisory or facilities management role
IOSH Managing Safely qualification, or willingness to complete the training within the first 3 months
Excellent communication, organizational, and IT literacy skills
A proactive, self-motivated approach with an eye for detail and a flexible 'can-do' attitude
A proven track record of service delivery in facilities management or contract cleaning
A full, clean driving licence and the willingness to travel across client sites as required
