About the Role
As a Senior Nurse (General) representing Barchester Healthcare through Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, you will use your leadership skills to ensure our residents receive the exceptional care we are known for. Acting as a hands-on clinical leader, you will create a safe, supportive environment for residents with diverse physical and mental needs. You will utilize your professional judgment to make critical clinical decisions—from assessing new residents to implementing safeguarding policies and administering medication in line with NMC regulations. Furthermore, you will mentor your team, ensuring they have the clinical training required to deliver the highest standards of nursing with total autonomy and professional respect.
About You
We are looking for a natural leader and problem-solver with a strong background in elderly care and clinical mentorship.
Qualifications: Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RGN) and a mentoring or supervision qualification are essential.
Experience & Knowledge: Proven experience producing care plans and detailed risk assessments, up-to-date knowledge of clinical practices, and a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
Attributes: Ambition, resilience, dedication, and a proven track record of driving quality improvements and supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship.
