Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to support specialized home-care placements, partnering to find compassionate professionals for children with complex health needs. We are currently recruiting a dedicated Children’s Complex Care Assistant to support a 12-year-old boy living in his family home in Frant.
He is a bright, joyful child who loves music, dancing, humming, stories, and using Makaton, while learning to use his power chair and trike. If you have an enthusiastic, warm personality and want to help him reach his full potential in a welcoming family environment, this is the role for you!
Specialist Clinical Care: Deliver expert clinical support including oral suctioning, PEG feeding, medication administration, nebulizer support, intermittent catheterization, bowel care, and monitoring respiratory health (e.g., stridor).
Safe Moving & Handling: Confidently carry out essential manual handling protocols to ensure safe daily support.
Engagement & Development: Engage the client through play, music, and Makaton, supporting him to access social activities, family outings, church services, and the wider community.
Care Plan Adherence: Follow individualized care plans closely as advised by nurse managers, prioritizing wellbeing and raising safeguarding concerns immediately.
To excel in this specialized agency placement, you will need:
Complex care skills are preferred, though full specialized training can be provided.
Confidence and competence with manual handling.
A warm, enthusiastic, engaging, and patient personality.
Full Right to Work in the UK (please note: visa sponsorship cannot be offered for this role).

A driving license is preferred, though not strictly essential.
