As a Lifestyle Assistant, you will assist in creating and delivering a diverse activities programme tailored to the physical and mental capabilities of care home residents. Working on a flexible basis, you will help build community connections, organise social events, and promote overall resident wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and running group and individual lifestyle sessions for residents.
Help organise internal events and develop strong links with the local community.
Adapt activities to accommodate varying physical and cognitive abilities while encouraging participation.
Requirements
Excellent communication, organizational skills, and a creative, empathetic approach.
Good understanding of how social engagement supports physical and mental health.
Valid right to work in the UK and flexibility to work variable shift patterns across a 7-day rota.
