We are acting on behalf of XL Team LTD—a premier nationwide provider of comprehensive medical, health, and safety solutions rooted in the North East UK—to recruit an experienced Night-Time Economy Clinical Leader (Registered Paramedic or Nurse) for specialist medical teams operating across Loughborough and surrounding areas.

You will work within busy student nightlife and entertainment venues alongside security, welfare teams, and venue management to provide advanced clinical care, lead event medical operations, supervise first responders (FREC 3/4), and safeguard vulnerable individuals throughout the night.
1. Clinical Leadership & Patient Care
Provide advanced patient assessment, clinical decision-making, and advanced life support within your professional scope of practice.
Manage acute illnesses, injuries, time-critical emergencies, and alcohol- or substance-related presentations.
Assess mental health, vulnerability, and safeguarding concerns, making appropriate referral, escalation, and NHS handover decisions.
2. Team Supervision & Governance
Undertake Event Clinical Lead responsibilities, providing clinical supervision and mentorship to the wider medical team (including FREC responders and Emergency Care Assistants).
Administer medicines in accordance with XL Team governance arrangements and oversee significant clinical incidents.
Support clinical audit, governance processes, and multi-agency liaison with emergency services and venue management.
Essential Criteria
Qualifications & Registration: Current HCPC registration as a Paramedic OR NMC registration as a Nurse, alongside active CPD and evidence of ongoing clinical competence (Nurses may be required to hold valid ALS training and relevant clinical skills).
Competencies: Strong autonomous decision-making skills, confidence in managing acute and complex night-economy scenarios, and exceptional communication abilities.
Vetting: Must successfully pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Desirable Criteria
Previous experience in Night-Time Economy (NTE), event medical services, festivals, venue settings, or ambulance operations.
