The Role
Position: Sous Chef (Agency Placement via Bridge Staffing)
Location: The Orchard, St Albans (AL1 5HL)
Pay Rate: £14.91 per hour
Hours: Full-time hours available (40 hours per week, shifts to include alternate weekends)

Key Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in planning, preparing, and serving nutritious, high-quality meals tailored to residents' dietary needs and preferences.
Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring strict adherence to cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.
Mentor and support kitchen staff to foster a collaborative working environment.
Communicate with residents and relatives to gather feedback and continually elevate the dining experience.
What We Are Looking For
Level 2 (or above) in Food Safety.
Level 2 Catering and Hospitality Qualification.
Allergen and Intolerance Awareness Certificate (desired but not essential).
At least 5 years of experience working in a commercial kitchen.
A compassionate, professional, and adaptable attitude tailored to the care sector.
