About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with a leading retail brand to recruit an inspirational and experienced Store Manager on a permanent basis across multiple locations in the Teesside and surrounding areas.

One day you'll handle deliveries, orders, and scheduling hours to meet efficiency targets; the next, you'll focus on people management, performance, customer queries, or till spot checks. All the while, you will drive the overarching goals of maximizing sales, ensuring great customer service, minimizing costs, and optimizing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Development: Inspire, motivate, and develop a diverse team to take pride in their work and deliver excellent customer service.

• Store Operations: Oversee daily store functions, including stock deliveries, ordering, till spot checks, and rota scheduling.

• People Management: Handle performance coaching, team reviews, and personnel development.

• Financial & Cost Control: Drive store profitability, maximize sales, manage budgets effectively, and minimize operating costs.

• Operational Efficiency: Guarantee that targets are consistently met while maintaining a high-performing, smooth-running retail environment.

Skills & Experience

• An experienced people-manager with a proven background in senior retail leadership.

• Used to leading teams in a fast-paced, customer- and stakeholder-driven environment.

• Highly skilled in time management, cost control, and boosting operational efficiency.

• Highly motivated, ambitious, and driven to consistently achieve and exceed business targets.
