We are proud to partner with Circle Health Group—Britain’s leading independent healthcare provider—to recruit a visionary and experienced Director of Clinical Services for the Senior Management department at Southend Private Hospital.
Spearhead the clinical governance agenda to guarantee full compliance with all regulatory, legal, and professional standards, maintaining a minimum CQC rating of Good while continuously striving for Outstanding.
Provide visible executive leadership and clinical on-call support, acting as the primary senior advisor on all clinical matters across the hospital.
Enforce robust safety measures to safeguard the health, safety, and overall wellbeing of patients within a high-quality clinical environment.
Uphold stringent professional standards in strict alignment with the NMC, HCPC, GMC, and other relevant regulatory bodies.
Ensure optimal, safe staffing levels across all clinical areas, balancing appropriate skill mix and staff competency at all times.
Lead hospital participation in internal and external audits, driving timely actions and adhering to industry best practices.
Collaborate closely with senior management and consulting physicians to optimize patient care quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
Registration: NMC or HCPC-registered healthcare professional with extensive senior leadership experience within a hospital setting.
Governance & Risk: Demonstrated, proven success in clinical governance, risk management, and quality improvement frameworks.
Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of national healthcare standards and regulatory frameworks (including CQC, NICE, NMC, and HCPC).
Leadership & Strategy: Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills, with a track record of leading investigations and embedding valuable learning from clinical incidents and audits.
Competitive Salary: Up to £71,983.00 per year.
