About the Role

As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are proud to partner with Tesco to help candidates secure fantastic retail opportunities. Tesco is currently looking for an energetic and customer-focused Tesco Colleague to join the team at their Banchory store.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role full of variety and everyday challenges. Working across evening shifts, you will help serve shoppers better every day by working across service, picking, and replenishment areas, ensuring store operations run smoothly.

Availability & Working Hours

• Contracted Hours: 21.75 hours per week (guaranteed minimum hours policy applies, with options to discuss flexibility down to 12 hours if preferred).

• Required Evening Availability Window:

  • Tuesday: 16:00 – 24:00

  • Wednesday: 15:00 – 24:00

  • Friday: 16:00 – 24:00

  • Saturday: 16:00 – 24:00

• Note: You will receive 3 weeks' notice of your exact shift schedules. Applicants must be over 18 years of age due to the evening closing hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Know your products and serve customers with passion, pride, and a friendly smile.

• Store Operations: Work flexibly across service, picking, and replenishment areas, and occasionally accept store deliveries.

• Stock & Standards: Handle products carefully to maintain high quality, reduce waste, and keep shelves well-presented.

• Team & Community: Build strong relationships with colleagues, live company values, and help create a welcoming, inclusive store atmosphere.

What You Will Need

• A genuine passion for delivering great service and building rapport with shoppers.

• The ability to take the initiative, make right-for-customer decisions, and work effectively as part of a team.

• Reliability, punctuality, and pride in being a positive brand ambassador.

• Must be over 18 years old (due to working after 9:45 PM) and have passed the school leaver's age.
