• Salary: Annual base salary of £25,564.50

• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week, working 12-hour shifts including days, nights, and alternate weekends. Sponsorship is not available).

What You Will Be Doing

• Support residents with complex neurological conditions, behavioral challenges, and palliative/end-of-life needs, adapting your approach to changing requirements.

• Assist with essential personal care, including washing, dressing, shaving, continence support, and mealtime assistance.

• Participate in ward rounds, observe and analyze behaviors, contribute to care planning, and maintain accurate clinical records.

• Encourage and support resident engagement in therapeutic activities (such as physiotherapy and art therapy) and social events like community outings.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with neurological conditions, challenging behaviors, or palliative care is advantageous, though the right values, emotional strength, and willingness to learn matter most.

• A naturally caring, resilient, adaptable, and professional disposition.

• Strong communication skills and a commitment to high standards of person-centred care.

• Reliable transport due to the rural location of the service.

Operating with a multidisciplinary team—including physiotherapists, art therapists, a Professor in Neuropsychiatry, and monthly specialist GP clinics—the service is built on a supportive culture of respect, collaboration, and high clinical standards.
