As a Maintenance Person (Day), you will oversee environment and equipment safety while managing routine maintenance tasks. You will work comfortably within a care setting, demonstrating empathy toward residents—including those living with dementia—and ensuring all work meets regulatory health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine health, safety, and compliance checks on the building, surrounding environment, and home equipment.
Carry out general maintenance, repairs, and room safety checks independently while prioritizing urgent tasks.
Interact respectfully with residents, staff, and visitors to maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-kept environment.
Requirements
Proven maintenance experience with a strong understanding of health and safety standards (relevant qualification or willingness to work toward one preferred).
Valid clean UK driving license, strong time management capabilities, and an empathetic approach toward older adults.
Valid right to work in the UK and ability to commute reliably to Widmerpool, UK.
