Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Barchester Healthcare to recruit an experienced and dedicated Bank Residential Senior Carer at Highfield Care Home in Tadcaster.
Offering true schedule flexibility to cover shifts as needed, this role provides an exceptional platform to lead a care team, support clinical needs, and progress toward senior care pathways like Care Practitioners or nursing.
As a Bank Senior Carer, you’ll oversee person-centred care delivery and provide hands-on support to residents. Key responsibilities include:
Team Leadership: Leading a shift of care staff, which includes providing supervisions, delegating duties, and supporting ongoing training.
Clinical Support: Administering and ordering medication, reviewing and updating resident care plans, and conducting detailed risk assessments.
Multidisciplinary Liaison: Collaborating closely with GPs, district nursing teams, and resident family members to ensure holistic care.
Dignity & Environment: Respecting resident preferences and helping foster a warm, welcoming, and vibrant home environment.
We are looking for a warm-hearted and capable leader who meets the following criteria:
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
Experience: Previous experience working within a residential care setting alongside proven team leadership skills.
