ABOUT THE ROLE
As a General Assistant at Barchester Healthcare’s Highfield Care Home, you will play a vital role in creating a warm, clean, and welcoming environment for residents. No two days are the same in this dynamic, hands-on position, which spans a variety of essential responsibilities across:
Housekeeping & Cleaning: Maintaining high-standard cleanliness throughout the care home.
Laundry: Ensuring residents' clothes and linens are fresh, tidy, and cared for.
Catering Support: Assisting the kitchen and dining team to deliver quality meals and dining experiences.
In this broad role, your everyday care and empathetic approach will help build meaningful, positive professional relationships with residents, making their home a truly comfortable and happy place to live.
