About the Role
We are seeking a versatile and reliable Bank General Assistant for flexible day placements in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire.
In this multi-faceted support role, no two days will be the same. You will carry out a diverse range of practical tasks across housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and catering support—ensuring the home remains clean, comfortable, and welcoming for all residents, visitors, and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing general cleaning, sanitizing, and housekeeping duties throughout communal spaces, resident rooms, and facilities.
Assisting with laundry operations, including washing, drying, ironing, and distributing linens and personal clothing.
Supporting kitchen and catering services with meal preparation support, dining room set-up, and dishwashing.
Building positive, respectful professional relationships with residents to foster a friendly, comfortable care environment.
Providing flexible bank cover for annual leave, sickness, or peak times on day shifts.
