About the Role
As a Regional Senior Care Assistant working in partnership with Barchester care homes, you will deliver warm, empathetic, and respectful care across a 20-mile radius to help residents get the most out of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor the delivery of high-quality care when on duty.
Contribute directly to the person-centred care planning process for each resident.
Accurately record vital observations, including blood pressure and temperature monitoring.
Provide meaningful companionship and ensure every resident receives dedicated one-to-one attention on every shift.
About You
To excel in this role, you will bring a strong background in care and a solid understanding of elderly care alongside a passion for enhancing wellbeing.
Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is essential (with a commitment to completing NVQ Level 3). GCSE English and Maths (Grade C / Grade 4 or above) preferred.
Knowledge: Sound understanding of the wider healthcare industry.
Travel Requirements: Must have access to your own vehicle or reliable transport to cover a 20-mile radius. Mileage expenses are covered for travel over 5 miles from your main home base.
