Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our nursing team. In this pivotal role, you will take responsibility for the overall wellbeing of our residents, managing the unit alongside clinical duties, overseeing care plans, administering medications, and providing clinical guidance to the wider team to maintain high CQC standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the unit alongside clinical duties, including overseeing care, ordering and administering medications, and evaluating individual care plans.

• Take responsibility for resident wellbeing, ensuring physical, emotional, and social needs are consistently met.

• Coach and guide the care team, sharing best practices and supporting digital care training.

• Monitor work areas to ensure safety, compliance with policies, and high standards of clinical excellence.

• For night shifts: Exercise strong critical thinking, self-reliance, and calm leadership while managing care staff and ensuring patient safety with limited overnight support.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• A valid NMC pin with a genuine commitment to the NMC Codes of Conduct.

• Previous experience maintaining high clinical standards and supporting CQC compliance.

• Excellent communication skills with a natural ability to build trusting relationships with residents and their families.

• Strong leadership qualities, with confidence to guide care teams and handle emergency situations calmly.
