Location: Bardon Distribution Centre (Training temporarily at Sawley)

Pay Rate: £13.31 – £16.64 per hour

🌙 Night Pay Premium: £16.64/hr applies to any hours worked between 10:00 PM and 4:00 AM!

⚠️ Important Location & Travel Note Before Applying:

Successful candidates will initially train and support operations at the Sawley Distribution Centre for up to 12 months before basing permanently at the Bardon Distribution Centre. Please ensure you have reliable personal transport to commute to both sites before applying.

About the Role

With bags of initiative, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our Regional Distribution Centre running cleanly, safely, and efficiently. As a key member of the transport and logistics team, you’ll operate fork-lift trucks to load store orders accurately, manage returnable equipment standards, and drive success in our recycling operations.

Key Responsibilities

• MHE & Fork-Lift Operation: Safely operate Fork-Lift Trucks (FLTs) to ensure store orders are loaded efficiently.

• Equipment Control: Oversee, organize, and maintain quality standards within the returnable equipment department.

• Recycling Operations: Active participation and support in keeping the site's recycling initiatives running smoothly.

• All-Weather Yard & Distribution Support: Maintain continuous operational flow regardless of weather conditions.

Skills & Experience Needed

• Initiative & Efficiency: A proactive, hard-working mindset—there are no twiddling thumbs here!

• MHE Experience: Comfortable operating fork-lift trucks and handling heavy distribution equipment safely.

• Reliable & Adaptable: Flexible to work night/evening shift rotas (5 out of 7 days, including weekends).
