Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Hybrid: Up to 2 days/week remote working + in-office flexi-time)

Location: Atherstone National Office (Must live within a 90-minute commute)

Salary Details: £55,125 – £63,500 per annum

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, solution-focused End to End Developer to join a multidisciplinary reporting team within Aldi’s National Data and Analytics (NDA) department. Reporting directly to the NDA Executive Manager, you will play a central role across the entire delivery lifecycle—from gathering requirements and data engineering to front-end visualization, UAT, documentation, and final deployment.

You will design, build, and maintain high-impact national reporting products that empower strategic decision-making across multiple business areas.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Delivery: Translate business requirements into robust, high-quality reporting solutions across multiple platforms.

• Data Engineering & Visualization: Build efficient ETL pipelines, design scalable data models, and create intuitive front-end dashboards.

• Gold-Standard Documentation: Develop comprehensive technical docs, UAT materials, and user training resources to accompany all report releases.

• Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing and troubleshooting to ensure absolute data accuracy, integrity, and performance.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operational teams, codevelopers, and the NDA Service Team to align reporting products with strategic business goals.

Skills & Experience Needed

Essential Skills:

• Data & ETL Expertise: Strong proficiency in SQL for analysis, engineering, and reporting, alongside experience creating scalable ETL processes.

• Data Modeling Tools: Demonstrated hands-on experience using Tableau Prep, Alteryx, or SSMS.

• Front-End Analytics: Proven expertise with visualization platforms like Tableau and/or Power BI.

• Requirement Translation: Ability to bridge the gap between complex business needs and technical solutions.

• Communication & Precision: Sharp attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Experience:

• Working knowledge of SAP.

• Familiarity with version control tools.

• Experience with Azure Databricks and/or Azure Data Factory for pipeline management.
