Salary: £90,000 – £109,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time (Part-time and flexible job plans considered)

As a General Practitioner with our supportive bridge staffing agency, you will join the team at Buxton Medical Practice to build meaningful, lasting relationships that span a lifetime—from supporting young families and managing acute illnesses to guiding patients through long-term conditions and compassionate end-of-life care. Working collaboratively within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will help shape the future of primary care while receiving the stability and backing of a larger not-for-profit healthcare organization.
Deliver high-quality, patient-centred general medical care across both routine and urgent appointments.
Assess, diagnose, and manage a broad range of clinical presentations, providing safe and effective treatments.
Support patients with acute illnesses, long-term condition management, preventative healthcare, and complex care needs.
Utilize EMIS Web clinical systems to manage patient pathways, clinical documentation, prescribing, referrals, and collaborative care planning.
Contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, teaching, mentoring, and innovative models of care.
Full GMC registration with a valid licence to practise.
Inclusion on the NHS England Performers List.
Excellent clinical decision-making capabilities combined with a compassionate, patient-centred approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
