About the Role

As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are thrilled to partner with Morrisons to recruit a natural leader as a Market Street Team Leader for their Erskine store. Whether you are an experienced people manager or a fantastic customer assistant looking to step up into leadership, you will act as the driving force behind our fresh food counters—coordinating daily operations across the Deli, Oven Fresh, Pie Shop, Fresh to Go, Bakery, and Cake Shop to deliver brilliant standards and fresh ideas for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Counter Excellence: Ensure exceptional standards and maintenance are consistently upheld across all Market Street counters, driving improvements and reducing waste.

• Team Coordination & Multi-Skilling: Manage day-to-day communication and multi-skill colleagues across counters (Deli, Oven Fresh, Pie Shop, Fresh to Go, Bakery, and Cake Shop) so they have the tools and training to succeed.

• Culture & Engagement: Create a performance-driven, supportive environment where colleagues are trusted, recognized, and empowered to put customers first.

• Process Optimization: Analyse department data to simplify workflows, speed up processes, identify risks, and ensure company policies and legal obligations are strictly followed.

What We Are Looking For

• Relationship Building: Exceptional ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members and customers.

• Leadership & Coaching: Proven experience in developing, leading, and coaching teams to build high competence, confidence, and performance.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong operational and practical familiarity with Market Street fresh food counters.

• Organizational Skills: Capable of planning, organizing, and managing workloads effectively to meet strict deadlines.
