At Lidl, everyone brings something unique to the table, but the best teams share a few key traits: they are collaborative, determined, and always ready to pitch in. Just like you.
As a Customer Assistant, no two shifts are ever the same. You will be the engine room of the store—keeping things moving, business booming, and boredom at bay. Whether you are jumping on the tills, restocking the shelves, or baking up a storm, you will take pride in keeping the store clean, tidy, and organized alongside a supportive team.
Be the Expert: Greet customers warmly and confidently help them with questions, queries, and requests.
Keep Things Moving: Efficiently unpack and work deliveries as they arrive in-store.
Deliver Excellence: Passionately provide top-tier customer service on the shop floor and at the checkouts.
Freshness First: Proactively keep the bakery topped up by baking fresh goods throughout the day.
Merchandise with Pride: Expertly maintain and organize the famous middle aisles of Non-Food products.
You don’t need a lifetime of retail experience to thrive here—we value attitude and drive above all else. We are looking for:
Experience working comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
The flexibility to start a shift early or finish late depending on your schedule.
A positive, adaptable approach to changing priorities throughout the day.
The drive, passion, and work ethic to help make your store a success.
A friendly manner and a smile to inspire your team and welcome customers.
We believe in equal opportunity and structured, fair pay. We are proud of our supportive team culture and have big ambitions for our people. With the right training, we will champion your career progression—offering pathways to become a Freshness, Non-Food, or Bakery Specialist.
We deeply value diversity, equity, and inclusion. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and celebrate individuality in a fair, respectful environment.
