Role Overview & Highlights
Job Title: Housekeeping Assistant - Bank
Location: Chilton Meadows Care Home, Stowmarket, IP14 1HL
Pay Rate: £13.30 - £14.30 per hour (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Bank Contract (Flexible hours to suit your lifestyle)
Shift Pattern: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (flexible options available), including some weekend working.
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for upholding pristine standards of cleanliness throughout the care home, working closely with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure residents enjoy a comfortable, well-maintained living space.
Key Responsibilities
Cleanliness & Upkeep: Maintain high standards of hygiene by vacuuming, mopping floors, polishing, and general upkeep of all communal areas and resident bedrooms.
Stock Management: Monitor and maintain housekeeping stocks for day-to-day use, reporting any shortages or issues promptly to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Resident Wellbeing: Ensure residents are kept happy and comfortable, multitasking effectively and coordinating with other teams to minimize disruption in their home.
