Position: Registered Nurse - Bank
Location: Richmond Villages Witney Care Home, Coral Springs Way, Witney, Oxfordshire, OX28 5DG
Pay Rate: £22.50 per hour plus a 10% night shift enhancement
Shift Pattern: Day shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) and Night shifts (8:00 PM – 8:00 AM)

As a Bank Registered Nurse, you will be at the heart of driving clinical excellence, leading units, and ensuring the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents are fully met. You will act as a vital mentor and guide to the wider care team, helping to maintain strict compliance with regulatory standards and CQC requirements while offering a warm, person-centred approach to retirement living.
Key Responsibilities:
Take full responsibility for the clinical well-being of residents, running and driving the unit alongside direct nursing duties.
Carry out thorough clinical assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
Coach, guide, and support the care team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and care professionals.
Monitor work areas and practices to ensure full safety and compliance with relevant legislation and high clinical standards.
Build strong, honest, and trusting relationships with residents, their families, and multidisciplinary teams.
A valid NMC pin with a deep, genuine commitment to the NMC Codes of Conduct and ongoing professional development.
A positive, energetic attitude that fosters a supportive and collaborative working environment.
A naturally caring, hands-on clinical approach with a flair for helping residents maintain independence and dignity.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport easily with residents and loved ones.
