Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with the British Red Cross to recruit a permanent Stewardship Manager on a flexible, UK-wide basis.
In this critical leadership role, you will head up the stewardship function, taking accountability for designing, managing, and implementing inspiring supporter and volunteer journeys. Combine your fundraising expertise with strategic vision to drive donor retention, secure long-term financial growth, and help shape a world where kindness knows no bounds.
Strategy & Multi-Channel Campaigns: Design, review, and implement multi-channel stewardship journeys across email, phone, social media, and direct mail, ensuring creative assets align perfectly with fundraising goals.
Team Leadership & Line Management: Directly manage and mentor a team of 3 executives, helping them overcome challenges, build resilience, and hit core KPIs.
Continuous Improvement & Testing: Spearhead the testing and optimization of stewardship journeys, tracking donor satisfaction, average values, and pipeline metrics against industry benchmarks.
Emergency Appeal Leadership: Act as the Emergency Appeal Lead for the team, ensuring cross-directorate collaboration, rapid response readiness, and robust income reporting.
Experience: Proven track record of hitting financial targets and fundraising KPIs in a community fundraising or stewardship environment.
Campaign Delivery: Extensive experience delivering personalized, multi-channel stewardship campaigns across diverse customer segments.
People Management: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Relationship Building: Exceptional organisational, prioritization, and communication skills, with a talent for building positive, collaborative partnerships internally and externally.
Financial & Pension: £38,750 - £40,590 salary range (plus London Weighting if applicable) and up to a 6% contributory pension scheme.
