Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Bradford Council to recruit reliable, hardworking Waste Collection HGV Drivers (Food Waste) to join their essential frontline Waste Services team.

As part of a professional collection crew, you will drive specialist food waste and HGV collection vehicles, helping to keep the district clean, safe, and running smoothly. Key responsibilities include:
Driving & Collections: Operating specialist food waste collection vehicles and other HGV collection vehicles safely across Bradford and Keighley.
Crew Collaboration: Working closely with your collection crew to complete daily routes efficiently, supporting supervision, and ensuring safe working practices.
Vehicle Checks & Maintenance: Carrying out daily vehicle inspections, basic maintenance checks, and completing defect reports and operational paperwork.
Technology & Compliance: Operating in-cab technology, collection management systems, and identifying/recording contaminated containers.
Customer Service: Delivering a courteous, helpful service to local residents and businesses.
We are looking for professional drivers with strong skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. Essential requirements include:
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence and Driver CPC.
Strong, confident driving skills, particularly when manoeuvring and reversing collection vehicles.
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions throughout the year.
Reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to following operational procedures.
