The Offer

• Hourly Rate: £13.45 - £14.45 per hour (dependent on shift/section)

• Premium Rates: Earn an extra £1.50/hr in the freezer, £2.00/hr on Bank Holidays, and £3.50/hr for night hours.

• Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (35 hours per week)

• Shift Patterns: Working 5 days out of 7. Shifts are either 10:00 – 17:30 or 13:00 – 20:30.

• Location: Moordale Road, Aycliffe Business Park, Newton Aycliffe, DL5 6BA

What You’ll Do

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be the backbone of the supply chain, ensuring over 2,000 products make it safely to store shelves. Your daily tasks will include:

• Voice-Pick Packing: Listening to picking instructions via a headset to swiftly and accurately select stock.

• Product Handling: Packing a variety of items, including fresh produce, meat, and frozen goods (protective thermal gear provided!).

• Securing Loads: Ensuring pallets and deliveries are perfectly stacked, stable, and ready for transit.

• Quality Control: Reporting any damaged stock to your team manager.

What You’ll Need

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment (preferred, but training is provided!).

• A target-driven mindset and a strong work ethic.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when working quickly.

• Self-motivation and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
