Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist – Mindplace Leeds
Location: Mindplace Leeds, Great Exhibition Way, Kirkstall Forge, Leeds, LS5 3BF
Salary: From £47,000 per annum (pro-rata for part-time hours, plus excellent Bupa benefits)
Contract Type: Permanent | Part-Time (Minimum of 2 days per week)
Shift Details: Sessions available Monday to Sunday (Early shift: 08:00–16:00, Late shift: 14:00–22:00; at least one shift must be a late shift; 5 appointments per day).
As a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist at Mindplace Leeds, you will provide high-quality, safe, and effective CBT interventions to drive exceptional clinical outcomes. Operating autonomously within Bupa's framework, you'll deliver comprehensive assessments, formulations, and tailored treatment models—via face-to-face, telephone, or video consultations—to support clients on their journey toward mental wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality CBT or low-level brief interventions demonstrating outstanding clinical outcomes.
Deliver comprehensive assessments and evidence-based formulations to determine optimal care pathways.
Offer flexible consultation formats (face-to-face, video, or telephone) based on client preference.
Adhere to case management processes, sessional limits, and private medical insurance guidelines.
Provide ad-hoc wellbeing support, coaching, group psychoeducation, and appropriate signposting or referrals.
Attend regular individual and group clinical supervision to support continuous professional development.
Essential Qualifications:
Full Accreditation with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
Post-Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT/High Intensity) accredited by BABCP.
Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience providing high-intensity CBT interventions across diverse presentations.
Desirable: Additional training/accreditation in specialised areas like EMDR, alongside corporate experience or leadership skills.
Key Skills: Excellent IT and electronic medical record proficiency, outstanding interpersonal communication, strong time management, and a self-motivated, autonomous approach.
Competitive Pay: Starting from £47,000 per annum (pro-rata).
