Lead a small, hands-on maintenance team completing essential carriageway, footway, and drainage works while ensuring top-tier safety and quality standards.
What You Will Do
Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a small team on site, ensuring all tasks are executed safely and to the highest standard.
Site Safety Management: Manage site safety, conduct risk assessments, and complete all associated paperwork.
Practical Operations: Operate light plant equipment (compressors, rollers, disc cutters, and vibrating plates) and undertake excavation and general site maintenance.
Supportive Maintenance: Support skilled operatives with kerbing, drainage, paving, surfacing, and repair works.
What You Will Bring
Licence & Experience: Hold a full driving licence and possess previous experience working in highway maintenance or a similar field with relevant certificates.
Safety Mindset: Completed relevant health and safety training for this level of work.
Team Player: A natural collaborator who enjoys building strong working relationships and taking pride in delivering quality work safely.
