Position: Teacher (1 ACE Provision)
Location: 1 ACE Bristol (covering Bristol and Bath "school without walls" outreach areas)
Salary: £31,689 - £37,932 per annum (Dependent on Experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM – 4:30 PM, aligned with local authority terms)
Are you a dedicated educator ready to start a transformative teaching career? We are seeking a passionate Teacher to join our dynamic team at 1 ACE (Another Chance Education) Bristol, operating as a flexible "school without walls" across the Bristol and Bath regions.
In this varied and exciting role, you will provide bespoke therapeutic educational frameworks tailor-made for children and young people who struggle in mainstream or formal school settings. Working within a trauma-informed practice model backed by our Attachment and Trauma Sensitive School Award, you will deliver education on an outreach basis or within alternative provisions, helping vulnerable students build trust, stability, and a genuine passion for learning.
Deliver engaging, child-centred education tailored to the bespoke needs of students across Bristol and Bath communities who cannot access traditional classrooms.
Follow a flexible structure, utilizing therapeutic educational frameworks to support emotional regulation alongside academic progress.
Work within a trauma-informed practice model, collaborating closely with clinical, residential, and educational colleagues.
Act as a consistent, dependable mentor for young people who may have experienced disrupted care and frequent adult transitions.
Maintain clear records, communicate effectively with families and multi-agency professionals, and champion student advocacy.
Essential Qualifications: NQT or QTS registration and the Right to Work in the UK.
Essential Requirements: A valid UK driving licence (essential for community-based outreach work).
Good written, verbal, and IT communication skills, with a patient, active-listening approach.
Experience working within a specialist education provision, alternative setting, or a deep, unwavering passion for making a difference.
