Senior Care Assistant (Night)
About this role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will combine direct overnight personal care with team leadership responsibilities. You will oversee care delivery during night shifts, support team development, and maintain high operational standards to create a safe, compassionate, and secure environment for all residents.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and support care staff during overnight shift routines.
Administer person-centered care, including mobility, personal hygiene, and night comfort routines.
Assist with care planning and ensure accurate documentation of resident wellbeing during night hours.
Requirements
NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (with willingness to achieve Level 3).
Proven experience working as a Senior Care Assistant in a care home environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with valid right to work in the UK.
