About the Role

This is a casual, part-time role offering flexible working. As a Bank Chef, you will have the chance to deliver hotel and restaurant standards without exhausting split shifts and long weeks. You will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavoursome, and well-balanced menus, collaborating directly with residents to tailor meals around their preferences. What You Need to Have
A personable and warm approach with a genuine interest in residents' wellbeing.
City & Guilds / NVQ / SVQ or equivalent culinary qualifications.
Experience in helping lead and inspire a kitchen team.
A good understanding of nutrition and experience working with fresh, seasonal food.
The ability to create a warm, welcoming, and fun environment, along with a solid understanding of HACCP guidelines.
What You Need to Do
Help manage and oversee the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.
Work with fresh produce to deliver high-quality, wholesome dishes cooked to the highest standards.
Help create a warm, efficient, and fun kitchen environment while assisting in leading and motivating the team.
Work within budget, complete regular audits, and manage stock control.
