We are acting on behalf of XL Team LTD—a premier provider of comprehensive medical, health, and safety solutions across the UK—to recruit professional and reliable Casual Winter Medical Responders for their busy Halloween and Winter Events season 2026.
In this exciting seasonal bank role, you will be part of a nationwide team delivering event medical services, first aid, and patient care for large-scale public events. You will respond to medical incidents, assess and treat patients within your competency, and maintain a safe, reassuring environment for event attendees across various regional venues.
1. Clinical Response & Patient Care
Respond promptly to medical incidents, first aid requests, and emergencies across fast-paced event environments.
Assess, treat, and monitor patients within your scope of practice, providing life-saving interventions and reassurance to attendees and families.
Ensure all medical equipment remains fully operational, checked, and ready for immediate deployment.
2. Operations & Professional Standards
Maintain accurate patient care records and incident reports in line with organisational standards.
Liaise effectively with event management, security personnel, and statutory emergency services as required.
Promote a safe, professional, and courteous atmosphere, maintaining composure and sound decision-making under pressure.
Essential Criteria
Licence & Travel: Full UK manual driving licence held for 12 months or more, with own transport essential due to multi-site event requirements.
Background & Skills: Prior customer service or public-facing experience, demonstrated teamwork capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
Capacity: Demonstrated physical and mental capacity to safely perform event responder duties, including working extended hours in unpredictable environments and safely lifting, moving, or assisting patients.
Training & Vetting: Willingness to complete the XL Team training programme (unpaid) and successfully pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Desirable Criteria
Any prior medical, first aid, or responder training (such as FAW, AED, FREC 3, FPOS, or equivalent).
