HC-One is recruiting Care Assistants at Millcroft, its care home in Birmingham. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will help residents with washing, dressing, hygiene and meals, support their physical, emotional and social wellbeing – including comfort at the end of life – and know how to spot and report signs of abuse or neglect.

Key details

• Pay: £13.45 – £13.95 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

• Hours: two roles – full-time nights (28.5 hours a week) or part-time early shifts (7am–2:30pm, three on, three off)

• Location: Millcroft, Birmingham

What you'll need

• A caring, respectful approach

• Comfort with technology such as digital care plans, or willingness to learn

• Willingness to complete safeguarding training
