Salary: £33,000 to £35,000 per annum

About the Role Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with DoctorPA Secure LTD—specialists in healthcare within secure environments since 2014—to source an organized and proactive Resourcing & Rota Coordinator dedicated to managing GP schedules. Operating under DoctorPA's core CARE ethos, this critical operational role ensures the safe, efficient, and cost-effective deployment of salaried and locum General Practitioners across multiple secure sites throughout the UK. You will act as the primary liaison between clinical staff, site managers, and partner organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and optimize accurate rotas and shift patterns across multiple secure sites using talent pools, salaried staff, bank, and locum GPs.
Build strong professional relationships with GPs, serving as the first point of contact for queries, feedback, and shift management.
Collaborate closely with recruitment and HR teams to coordinate onboarding, right-to-work, and compliance checks for new candidates.
Monitor staffing levels, analyze utilization trends, forecast workforce requirements, and implement robust contingency plans for staff shortages.
Maintain daily compliance records, rota trackers, and reconciliation data while reporting insights to senior management.
Person Specification & Requirements
Experience: Proven professional background in rota coordination, operational resource planning, or medical staffing/recruitment (experience within healthcare, secure environments, or the public sector is highly desirable).
Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and rota management or ATS platforms; exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Residency Requirement: Due to security clearance and vetting standards, all applicants must have been continuously resident in the United Kingdom for the last 5 years (with no more than a 28-day break outside the UK and no employment gaps).
