We are proud to partner with Circle Health Group—Britain’s leading independent healthcare provider—to recruit an expert and compassionate Clinical Lead for the Paediatrics department at The Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle.
Provide clinical leadership and expert oversight for all paediatric and Children and Young People (CYP) services within the hospital.
Ensure strict compliance with statutory and regulatory standards, including CQC, NMC, and national paediatric guidelines.
Act as the hospital’s CYP safeguarding lead, collaborating closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead to maintain robust child protection processes.
Lead, mentor, and manage the paediatric nursing team, ensuring safe staffing levels, optimal skill mix, and effective rota coordination.
Guide the continuous development of the CYP service to ensure alignment with national guidance, patient needs, and organizational strategy.
Build strong, supportive relationships with patients, families, and carers to ensure transparent communication and active involvement in care decisions.
Registration: Registered Children’s Nurse (RSCN / RN Child) with a valid, active NMC registration.
Experience: Significant post-registration experience in paediatrics, backed by a proven track record in leadership or management roles.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of paediatric nursing practice, clinical governance, and statutory safeguarding legislation.
Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities, with a proven talent for managing complex clinical situations and ensuring safe, high-quality care.
Desirable Criteria: Experience in quality improvement, clinical audit, and service development initiatives.
Competitive Salary: Up to £48,000.00 per year.
