Position: Permanent Chef
Location: Madley Park House, Madley Way, Witney, OX28 1AT
Pay Rate: £16.49 per hour (with weekend enhancements available)
Contract Type: Permanent / 37 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday–Friday, with alternate weekend working)

As a Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are proud to partner with this leading not-for-profit provider to find an experienced and talented Chef for Madley Park House in Witney.
Situated in a quiet location within the thriving market town of Witney, Madley Park House is a warm, welcoming home-from-home offering round-the-clock residential, early-stage dementia, and respite care. In this role, you will enjoy full autonomy over menu development, designing fresh, seasonal, and nutritious meals while managing your own kitchen and leading a small team—all without split shifts or late anti-social hours!
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of kitchen and catering services, ensuring exceptional standards of nutrition, hygiene, and safety.
Design and develop menus using fresh, seasonal ingredients tailored to specialist diets and resident preferences.
Lead, motivate, and inspire a small catering team while managing budgets and stock effectively.
Build warm relationships with residents and their families to ensure a high-quality, personalised dining experience.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Proven professional kitchen experience cooking for large groups, with knowledge of menu planning for specialist diets and budget management.
Qualifications: Ideally holding (or working towards) a Level 3 Diploma in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership (or equivalent).
Attributes: Strong leadership skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and a warm, engaging approach towards elderly residents.
