Salary: Up to £41,000 per year + Site Allowances

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time (07:45 – 16:30 with a 9-day fortnight — every 2nd Friday off, PAID!)

Key Responsibilities

• Fire Alarm Installation: Carry out the professional installation of fire detection and alarm systems, including containment and cabling specifically related to fire safety.

• Controlled Area Operations: Undertake all duties, training, and medicals necessary for working in radiological and explosive controlled areas.

• Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Technical Compliance policies, alongside the Company Safety Manual.

• Project Communication: Provide weekly progress reports to your line manager, advise on work statuses, return paperwork promptly, and maintain strong client relationships.

• Resource Management: Control and manage tools and plant on site efficiently to ensure optimal resource allocation.

What You Will Need

• Qualifications: City & Guilds 236 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent) in electrical installation, plus an 18th Edition Electrical qualification.

• Experience: Proven experience in installing fire detection/alarm systems and working within industrial environments.

• Standards Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of relevant fire standards, including BS 5839 Pt 1 – 2013 and BS 6266 Pt 1 – 2013.

• Security Requirement: Must be a British National residing in the UK for a minimum of 10 years to meet security clearance criteria.
