Salary: Up to £37,020.00 per annum

About the Role
As a Head of Maintenance representing Barchester Healthcare through Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, you will ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment where residents feel completely at home and staff can excel. You will handle a diverse range of tasks across the care home building, gardens, and grounds—from repairing a fixture to tending to outdoor spaces.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintaining the interior and exterior of the care home to the highest standards.
Working independently as well as leading and supporting a maintenance team.
Assisting the General Manager with annual budget planning.
Liaising and managing external contractors for specialized projects.
Prioritizing the wellbeing and safety of residents with sensitivity during all maintenance activities.
About You
We are looking for a reliable, flexible professional who brings a hands-on approach to property upkeep.
Experience: Proven experience in property maintenance with at least one core trade skill.
Qualifications: GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) and IT literacy.
Requirements: A full UK driving licence and a compassionate, resident-first mindset.
