In this key role, you will provide market-leading product availability, maintain legal and safety compliance, and drive exceptional store standards to create a brilliant shopping environment.
Lead the team to the highest standards, striving to ensure the best possible shopping experience for every customer.
Plan and organise current promotions, retail events, and daily department routines.
Listen and respond proactively to customer feedback to react accordingly.
Ensure market-leading product availability, safety, and legal compliance across the store.
Work closely with other store managers to cultivate a supportive, performance-driven culture.
Efficiently manage people routines, including scheduling, absence management, performance, and talent conversations.
Deliver targeted training to build team capability, confidence, and cross-department collaboration.
Plan resources thoroughly and take a proactive leadership role within the store.
To thrive in this role, you will need:
Previous experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment (retail, hospitality, service, or travel/tourism backgrounds are welcome).
Exceptional communication skills to share knowledge, best practices, and build strong stakeholder relationships.
Flexibility, adaptability to change, and the ability to challenge effectively.
A strong customer-first approach, actively listening and responding to both customers and colleagues.
