About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Account Director to join our team in Leeds. In this pivotal leadership role, you will enable the business to be the leading provider of cleaning and FM services by delivering outstanding standards and service within operational budgets, while leading by example and demonstrating SBFM's core values at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Build strong relationships with senior-level clients to instil confidence, trust, and ensure open dialogue regarding operational issues.
Present at weekly, monthly, and quarterly governance meetings, providing data reports and appropriate analysis to explain performance.
Ensure all regions deliver operational excellence within site budgets and structured frameworks.
Proactively review, manage, and deliver the profit and loss (P&L) for the division, reporting variations and implementing action plans for resolution.
Identify ways to improve P&L performance through innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.
Coach and develop teams to manage their people brilliantly well, building a strong internal talent pipeline for future succession.
Develop a solid understanding of the marketplace and competition to identify commercial growth opportunities.
Deliver presentations to the Executive team as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
Strong data analysis skills (Excel, PowerBI) to identify problem areas, drive growth, and encourage continuous improvement.
Proven experience leading a team and managing frontline operatives from diverse backgrounds.
Experience working with senior-level clients, including presentations and regular governance.
Ability to performance manage others to hit targets, KPIs, and SLAs.
Experience defining and working to financial budgets and managing a P&L.
Facilities Management (FM) experience is not essential, but a strong knowledge of the industry is useful.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships.
