About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Head of Procurement and Fleet to join our team based at our newly renovated Head Office in Leeds. In this vital leadership position, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive procurement and fleet management strategies, ensuring optimal cost efficiency, high supplier performance, and strict regulatory compliance to support our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies that drive cost savings and operational efficiency.
Manage supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
Establish robust procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Drive sustainability and ethical sourcing initiatives across all procurement processes.
Develop and implement an effective fleet strategy to optimise vehicle utilisation and reduce operational costs.
Oversee the procurement, maintenance, and disposal of company vehicles while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Utilise advanced fleet management software and analytics to monitor performance, efficiency, and maintenance schedules.
Enforce policies for driver safety, training, and vehicle usage.
Qualifications and Skills:
Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management and/or CIPS qualification is highly desirable.
Proven experience in procurement and fleet management, preferably within the Facilities Management industry.
Strong negotiation, contract management, and supply chain principles.
Strong financial acumen with extensive experience in budgeting and cost control.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.
