Working in a brand-new kitchen equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, you will craft delicious, nutritious meals tailored to diverse dietary needs, bringing joy, comfort, and exceptional dining experiences to residents.
As a Bank Chef De Partie through Supportive Bridge, you will enjoy complete flexibility over the shifts you pick up between 07:00 and 20:00. With no late nights, this role offers an outstanding work-life balance while allowing you to showcase your culinary artistry.
Key Responsibilities
Cater to residents across the Village—spanning the care home, serviced suites, restaurant/spa diners, and direct apartment meal deliveries or special events.
Prepare and cook food in strict accordance with food hygiene regulations and high-risk perishable stock controls.
Tailor menus to meet the specific dietary needs of residents, villagers, and wellness spa clients, responding actively to comments and requests.
Participate in the preparation and serving of meals on the hotplate as required.
Maintain a welcoming, safe, compliant, clean, and hygienic working and dining environment.
What We Are Looking For
A passion for food and previous experience working in a professional kitchen, ideally catering for customers with special dietary requirements.
A solid understanding of health and safety procedures, ideally backed by an NVQ, City & Guilds qualification, or a CIEH Level 2 Food Safety Award (or equivalent).
An innovative yet organised approach to cooking, capable of staying calm and efficient during a busy service while collaborating well with others.
