Job Title: Mammographer (Part-Time)

Rate of Pay / Salary: £18,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time (16 hours per week / 2 days per week chosen from Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday) + Free Onsite Parking
We are partnering with the Bupa Health Centre in St Albans to find a dedicated and qualified Mammographer looking to achieve an ideal work-life balance or scale down their hours. Located in Abbey View Business Park, the clinic offers a comprehensive range of health services, utilizing state-of-the-art technology like Pristina to deliver fast, efficient, and compassionate patient pathways.
As a Mammographer through Supportive Bridge, patients will be your top priority. You will work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a stellar breast screening service, ensuring high standards of care from screening through to treatment planning.
Deliver a comprehensive breast screening service, performing high-quality examinations as requested by referring physicians in line with departmental policies.
Accurately analyse acquired data, record results, and produce high-quality images for reporting while ensuring patients receive exceptional care.
Organise the daily work programme to maintain departmental efficiency and manage stock control systems, resources, and supplier liaison.
Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, kept clean, and that any faults are reported immediately.
Work flexibly when required to accommodate changing workloads within the mammography service.
Essential Qualifications: BSc or DCR in Radiography, a Post Graduate Certificate in Mammography, and valid HCPC Registration.
A flexible, adaptable working attitude with the ability to use your own initiative and streamline the patient pathway.
Strong focus on collaboration, working closely with the Lead Mammographer and wider multi-disciplinary team.
