Location: Castleview, Peel (IM5 1DX)
Pay Rate: £12.86 per hour
Contract Type: Part-Time, 34 hours per week (Includes alternate weekends)
Are you creative, energetic, and passionate about enriching the daily lives of older adults? We are seeking a dedicated Wellbeing Coordinator to join the family at Castleview, a 66-bedded nursing, dementia, and residential care home in Peel.
In this vital role, you will design, organize, and lead a diverse, engaging activities program tailored to the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents, helping them live vibrant, fulfilling lives every single day.
Develop and run a rich variety of activities, including arts and crafts, music therapy, fitness classes, social gatherings, and outings.
Encourage resident participation and build a vibrant, inclusive sense of community within the home.
Collaborate closely with care staff to align activities with individual resident preferences and needs.
Coordinate with external entertainers, volunteers, and local community groups.
Maintain accurate records of participation and ensure all activities are delivered in a safe, supportive environment.
Previous experience in a similar wellbeing, activities, or recreational role within a care setting is highly desirable.
A background in recreational therapy, social work, or a related field is an advantage.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for putting smiles on residents' faces and making a real difference.
