Working as a Bank Complex Care Assistant through our supportive bridge staffing agency on behalf of Barchester Healthcare, you will support residents with a variety of specialized needs, including advanced or young onset dementia, multiple sclerosis, neuro rehab, and Huntington’s disease. Every day is wonderfully varied—from assisting with daily living, nutrition, and tailored care plans to providing warm companionship, dedicated one-to-one time, and sharing great memories.
Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)
Provide specialized care and support for residents with complex health needs.
Assist with daily living activities, personal care routines, and food and drink intake.
Deliver meaningful companionship and ensure each resident receives dedicated one-to-one time.
Follow individual care plans accurately and adapt to a dynamic daily routine across mixed day or night shifts.
Candidate Requirements (What You'll Need)
Some previous experience in caring for older people or individuals with complex needs.
A proactive, positive "can-do" approach to daily challenges.
Excellent communication skills and a natural, warm-hearted disposition.
Genuine empathy, compassion, and a commitment to high standards of care.
