We are looking for a flexible Bank Care Assistant to join our team at The Coombs care home, providing compassionate, person-centred support to our residents.

About the Role & Location

• Where You’ll Be Working: The Gorse, Coleford, GL16 8QE (The Coombs Care Home).

• Working Hours: Bank contract offering flexibility to cover day and weekend shifts as and when required.

• Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Companionship: Providing support, meaningful communication, and regular engagement.

  • Personal Care: Assisting with washing, bathing, showers, dressing, and oral care.

  • Medication: Prompting, assisting, or administering medications and creams.

  • Meals: Supporting residents with healthy meals, snacks, and beverages.

  • Domestic Tasks: Assisting with light cleaning duties.

  • Mobility: Helping residents maintain as much independence as possible with their mobility.

  • Social Activities: Participating in trips out, social events, and in-home activities.

What We Need From You

• A minimum of 12 months on your legal right to work in the UK.

• Flexibility to work day and weekend shifts on a bank/as-needed basis.

• A warm, compassionate, and enthusiastic attitude toward helping others.
